TCL-MF Ultra-low Formaldehyde No-Ironing Resin

Ingredients: Special Modified Dimethylol Dihydroxy Ethylene Urea

Physicochemical properties:

  • appearance: Weakly yellow light transparent liquid
  • pH value: 6-7
  • Free formaldehyde: ≤0.5%
  • Solubility: Mixed with any ratio of water

Characteristics and usage: DP finish for cotton, linen, viscose, Tencel and its blended fabrics with chemical fibers. The fabric after treatment features good recovery, anti shrinking, and durability to washing, low strength loss, especially released formaldehyde ultra lower than 75ppm.

Application methods:Dilute the resin and catalyst with water before application respectively, adding softener at last, stirring thoroughly, adjust working liquor to pH value 5-5.5 with HAc, for garment finish by immersion method, for fabric finish by padding method.

Padding method:

  • TCL-MF resin:60-100 g/L
  • CZ-3 catalyst: 20-25% ratio to resin
  • Softener:moderate dosage
  • Twice dipping twice padding (pick up 70%)---85℃ stenter drying ---curing at 155℃for 3 minutes

Immersion method:

  • TCL-MF resin:50-100 g/L
  • CZ-3 catalyst:20-25% ratio to resin
  • Softener:moderate dosage

Immersion (15-20 minutes)---water extraction (pick-up 70-80%)----drying (moisture regain 7-10%)----ironing---155℃ curing for 4-7 minutes
Practical dosage depends on trials, the treated fabric should have clean surface and acidic pH value.

Package and storage:25kg plastic drum, stored at room temperature, validity for 6 months
